Are you looking for a COVID-safe compliant business with multiple income streams, 2 homes and an escape to rural living?

The Cedar Gallery space and guest rooms have undeniable charm
This is your opportunity to secure the lifestyle of your dreams.  The property will be sold on a walk-in-walk-out basis.  Cedar Galleries is a privately-owned freehold rural-zoned property, with
  • a working art and craft village,
  • with two houses with privacy and separately fenced yards,
  • on 28 acres of land fronting the Bruce Highway,
  • with a bush chapel and function/reception space,
  • has purpose-built conferencing facilities,
  • a registered and COVID-safe café,
  • an established outdoor laser tag following,
  • with four farm stay guest rooms well reviewed on AirBnB,
  • numerous art and craft studios used by the public,
  • and well fenced paddocks and extensive under-roof pens for your livestock pursuits.
With two houses, well separated on the property, this is a great opportunity for the extended family or likeminded friends to live the dream together.
The property was originally the site of the Old Ten Chain Sawmill, and is steeped in history with an authentic rustic Australiana appeal.  At the end of its life as a commercial sawmill it was purchased by a family of artists.  They used the remaining timbers and flitches to create an artist village of quiet charm that inspires creativity and serenity.  Purchased ten years ago by the mother daughter team it has been refurbished and its venue facilities have been greatly broadened and improved so that it now has so many avenues for income and expansion.  Now it's your turn to further realise the potential of this truly unique property.  The current owners are relocating interstate to be with aging family.  The property will be sold on a walk-in-walk-out basis, including all furniture in the tourist-facing buildings, all hospitality and event equipment, all café stock and even the tractor.  The current owners will only be taking their personal belongings and furniture in the two houses and the animals.  But we can even include a small herd of alpacas if you wish.  We are looking for offers around $1,275,000 walk-in-walk-out.

Let's start a conversation about your next adventure.

The Property

Set on 28 acres the property is located on the Bruce Highway at Calliope, outside of the city of Gladstone in Queensland.  Many acres have been fenced with hardwood and dog wire to run alpacas but it could also suit other animal pursuits.  Around 10 acres at the rear of the property remains as natural bushland and may be suitable for a ropes course, paintball, or eco pursuits, subject to council approval.
